You can transfer your files wirelessly from one computer to another without downloading and installing any third-party software. Microsoft released a feature for Windows called Nearby Sharing that allows the user to share files for free.

You probably attach the files to an email and send it to someone else, even though you work in the same room, anytime you want to share your files with someone else. Windows 10 April 2018 Update allows you a faster and direct way to share your Nearby files and links.

Nearby sharing is a tool that helps you to transfer files or links to nearby devices for example in your home or office via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. An app that facilitates sharing, such as the Windows Images App, Microsoft Edge, or even File Explorer, can send Nearby files or connections.

It is included in the Windows 10 April 2018 Update, but you have to allow it to be included.
