Part 1

Booting to the Windows 7 Installer

For Installing Windows 7, make sure your Windows 7 installation media is connected to the PC if you haven’t yet connected Windows 7 Installation media so do connect to the PC.

If you don’t have Windows 7 installation iso file then download it from this Mircosoft.

Step 1. Click Restart Your PC

Firstly Open the start menu and click the Windows icon after that click power then you will get 3 options so click restart.

Step 2. Open Bios setup press and hold DEL or F2 Button

After restarting, open bios setup simply press and hold DEL or F2 Botton. For installation we need bios setup without bios we cannot install Windows 7, this key may also be a different key because most computers when showing display a message on startup that says Press (key) to enter.

When your computer restarts to confirm the key.

Step 3. Select the Boot tab

After pressing Del or F2 button, select the boot tab. You will have to use the arrows key for selecting the boot tab.

Sometimes it may be different it’s depending on your PC company.

Step 4. Select a device from which to boot.

After selecting the boot tab, you will see a couple of options. For installing you will have to select the Installation media.

  • CD-Rom Drive
  • USB Flash Drive
  • Removable Devices
  • Disc Installation

Step 5. Press the [+] key until your boot option is first.

Once either Removable Devices or CD-ROM Drive is at the top of the list, your computer will select your choice as its default boot option.

On some computers, you will instead press one of the function kets e.g [F5} to navigate an option up to the top of the menu. The key will be listed on the right side of the screen.

Step 6. Save your bios settings Press {F10}

Save your bios settings, for saving settings press {F10}. you should see a key prompt (e.g, F10) at the bottom of the screen that correlates to “save and Exit” pressing it should save your settings and restart your computer.

  • After all, you may have to press the [ENTER] key to confirm the changes.

Step 7. You have to wait for your computer to restart.

After saving settings end-all, simply you have to wait for restarting your computer. you will see a window here with data. after that, you are now ready for Windows 10 installation.

Part 2

Installing Windows 7

 

Step 1. Click the Next button and install Windows 7

After looking command prompt click the Next button. You can also change the options on this page, the setup language

  • Language to install.
  • Time and currency formate.
  • Keyboard or input method.

Enter your language and other preferences and click “next” to continue.

Step 2. Click Install now and install Windows 7

After clicking Install now you will be able to install Windows 7 easily. it’s in the middle of the Windows.

If you want to repair your Windows then click Repair your computer.

Step 3. Click Accept the license terms and click the next button

After that, accept the license terms and click the next button, if you wise to read these terms then you can read them.

These license terms are an agreement between Microsoft Corporation (or based on where you live, one of its affiliates) and you.

Step 4. Click Custom(advanced).

it’s at the top that Which type of installation do you want?. If you are going to the Custom option then Windows 7 will be installed Clean.

If you wise to upgrade to Windows 7 then you can also upgrade it.

Upgrade: Install Windows and keep files, settings, and applications

The files, settings, and applications are moved to Windows with this option, This option is only available when a supported version of Windows is already running on the computer.

Custom: Install Windows only {Advanced}

The files, settings, and applications aren’t moved to Windows with the option. If you want to make changes to partitions and drives, start the computer using the installation disc. We recommend backing up your files before you continue.

Step 5. Select on which hard drive and partition you want to install Windows 7.

Select on which hard drive and partition you want to install Windows 7,  if you want to install clean Windows 7 then you can format hard drive and partition.

If your computer doesn’t have yet any partitions for install Windows 7 then you can create the new partition.

For creating a new partition follow some steps

  • Select the hard drive from the list of hard drives.
  • Click Drive options (advanced).
  • Select New from Drive options.
  • Select the size, and click OK.

After all, click the Next button and install Windows 7.

Step 6. Wait Windows 7 began to install on your System.

Note: That’s all the information we need right now. Your computer will restart several times during installation.

  • Copying Windows files.
  • Expanding Windows files.
  • Installing features.
  • Installing update.
  • Completing installation.

Simply you have to wait for 15-20 minutes after installing you will be able to use it

Step 7. Choose your PC name and click Next

After installing complete, choose your PC name and click next

If you wish to choose your Windows password then you can choose it after clicking the next button.

Step 8. Enter your Windows 7 Product key

Windows product key is a 25-character code used to activate Windows. It looks like this:

Example: WYPNQ-8C467-V2W6J-XXXXX-XXXXX 

If you purchased a product key then enter otherwise you don’t have any product key then you can also skip this step click the next button simply.

Step 9. Choose your Windows settings

  • Use recommended settings automatically sets update and security settings recommended by Microsoft.
  • Install important updates only configures your computer only to install necessary updates.
  • Ask me later disables your security until you have made a decision.

After all, select your network type

  • Home Network
  • Work Network
  • Public Network

Having installed Windows 7 now you can use the full system
